Richard has been leading commercial organisations through large scale digital change for 20 years. He has successfully orchestrated cutting edge digital and channel transformation programmes for some of the UK’s best known brands within Financial Services, Travel, Telecoms and Retail. He is particularly skilled at applying a creative approach to understanding digital transformation roadmaps then building and leading teams to deliver.

Richard’s experience covers all elements of digital transformation – from vision, through strategy, roadmap development and delivery. He has built and led teams to deliver change programmes alongside teams to manage all aspects of the digital marketing mix.

Richard is always interested in applying the right kind of digital change to business to help them achieve their goals and is often used to deliver ‘channel shift’ programmes where clients are looking to digital channels to drive revenue or cost savings. He has excellent experience of calibrating the digital strengths of his clients and helping them realise their digital ambitions. Richard knows how to shape and deliver eCommerce, Digital and Data strategies; he also understands the mechanics of a high performing digital channel team.

A keen and able problem solver, Richard has a positive, collaborative and analytical approach to complex change and transformation with an open and curious mind. He maintains focus on driving towards decision-making such that progress and momentum can be created and maintained resulting in the successful delivery of the outcomes identified at the start of the project.



Developed the omni-channel strategy for a major UK retail bank. Managed a team of channel and product experts, successfully delivered omni-channel activities that merged digital and retail experiences helping the client deliver significant cost savings and increase revenue.


Created and launched a programme of ‘digital disruption’ innovation projects for private banking which led to a significant increase in customer awareness, traffic and conversion . Developed and rolled out apps increasing customer awareness, simplifying customer journeys resulting in improved conversion rates.


Delivered global eCommerce & ERP re-platform and builds for Europe, North America, Australasia. Led programmes to map the customer journey processes, existing and Target Operating Model. Delivered B2B and D2C eCommerce platforms managing end to end fulfilment, pre and post sales processes. Delivered global digital marketing strategies for SEO, Content, PPC and Social Media.
